Inspired by the face chart for a recent DSquared Spring Runway Look, we created an easy daily Spring make-up to look pretty and polished in a flash.

AND GO! :
1. Use Concealer where ever needed (under eyes, around nose, on any blemishes etc…) and set with powder.
2. Sweep bronzer on places where the sun would hit (forehead & cheeks) and add a little as contour/definition under cheek bones and in the crease or socket of the eye.
3. Add a peachy pink blusher to the apples of the checks for a healthy glow.
4. Use clear mascara to hold browns in place and and subtly enhance lashes.
5. A peachy-nude gloss for a naturally pretty, hydrated lip.
You’re out the door with a fresh, but polished (low-maintenance) look that literally takes five minutes or less.

Yes SPF is de rigueur every season, but come Summer the most fun way to shield ones visage from the sun is with a hat. None more glam than the wide brimmed style. Even the most bland and basic tank and jeans looks downright old Hollywood glamorous when finished with a great hat and of course big sunglasses. Wether longing beachside/poolside or catching some rays in the park or your yard; a Summer hat is a practical way to indulge in girly glamor. Run for cover :

We’ve become fans of the Yoga Solutions videos – they’re simple, informative, and effective – they’re also in beautiful open air locations or in spare, modern interiors that are equally restful to the eye. Here’s one for helping to achieve that elusive perfect posture. If the physical and health benefits of being well aligned just don’t move you to take an extra 15 minutes every day for this, then think of this way – the easiest way to look longer, and leaner is to stand in your natural or “perfect” alignment.

Every girl needs to have that LBB (little black bikini) in her swim wear arsenal. It instantly makes you look chic and effortlessly pulled together, and maybe we’re imaging it…but, it somehow makes you look trimmer – maybe it’s those clean lines…
It’s always a good choice when you have to make quick transitions ( say from water to restaurant) since it can invisibly serve as a base layer for a cover up or sundress. Though it may seem contrary, the best way to stand out in a sea of neon colored bikini’s and pastel polka dots – is to go black.

The weather in NYC is finally in synch with the season and this editorial is just hyping the Spring Fever that has already taken over. As someone who almost never buys cut flowers (can’t bear the inevitable sad clean up when they all to quickly wilt and meet their end), I’m about to reconsider. I think I NEED to look at beautiful blooms on my desk for the rest of this week. You to? Or will these suffice?
